Hi!
I've decided to turn this blog into a kind of restaurant-sharing type of blog space. I started with my last post on Cheryl's Place in Brighton, MI. I recently went on a road trip from where I live near Detroit to Ludington and so I think I'll keep up with that theme and do another restaurant from the trip.
The next place is the Brunch House in Muskegon, MI. We were heading back home, and again needed to stop for breakfast. I don't want to talk down on Muskegon too much.. my family used to own a restaurant there and they have beautiful beaches! But really.. I think this Brunch House was the only cool place in the city. It has great vibes and decor and was super busy! It was probably so busy because there's no where else to go.

Haha, okay, enough of the jokes. We got there at a good time and didn't really have to wait. We sat at the bar which was perfect for my mom and I. After we left, it got really busy and looked like there was a long wait! We were there around 9am.
They have a bunch of cool brunch cocktails like bloody marys and mimosa flights. We were driving home so we stuck to coffee. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it did not dissapoint. MY mom ordered the bacon skillet which she also enjoyed. But the star of our breakfast was the fresh fruit waffle that we split. The waffle was so light and fluffy and tasty, and the fruit and whipped cream were just so delish. We didn't even put syrup on it because it was so good as-is.
So, hit up the beautiful beaches in Muskegon and check out Brunch House while you're at it!
